Best Cooking Oil for Cholesterol

Use of best cooking oil is responsible for keeping the amount of cholesterol under control. The cooking oil for cholesterol contains four major products such as monounsaturated fats, saturated fats, trans-fatty acids and polyunsaturated fats. Butter or lard consists of saturated fats. Tran’s fats are commonly found in vegetable oils and are usually used in foods that contain preservation of flavor and thereby increasing the shell life of the prepared food. The dietary cholesterol is mainly caused due to Trans and saturated fats and is the major causes of stroke, diabetes and other such conditions.  

Unsaturated and polyunsaturated fats are responsible for lowering the amount of cholesterol from the body. Olive oils and corn oils are the cooking oils that contain such type of fats. Foods such as meats, chicken made from such type of unsaturated fats helps in keeping the heart healthy and are also responsible keeping the cholesterol under control. Peanut oil is also responsible for controlling the amount of cholesterol in the body since it contains unsaturated fats. Flaxseed oil can also be used as cooking oil since it is enriched with polyunsaturated fats. Refined canola oil can also be used as cooking oil since it is healthy.
