Reduce Cholesterol with Exercise

Any type of physical exercise is capable of reducing the cholesterol level of the body. The activities can be in the form of gardening, cleaning or any kind of similar exercise. As you start exercise on regular basis the amount of HDL which is also called as good cholesterol increases. The amount of LDL known as bad cholesterol which is responsible for clogging of the arteries reduces. With the exercise daily you can achieve loss in weight and can keep a control on the body weight. Exercise will help to increase the blood circulation in the body which will help to clean away the clots formed in the blood vessels. This will improve the condition of the heart and will make it strong for pumping blood efficiently.  

For reducing cholesterol you need not do rigorous exercise. Regular physical exercise for a time of 30 minutes is enough for an adult to lower the cholesterol level in blood. Exercises such as jogging, swimming, walking, biking have worked wonders in reducing cholesterol. While performing exercise it is necessary to start slowly and over a period of time you must move on to difficult ones. This will ensure that you are protected from any kind of injury or strain.
