Dangers of Getting Attacked by Diseases for Patients with Cholesterol Disorder

The increasing of the level of cholesterol is not medically a disease. It is a condition that increases the chances of getting affected with a disease. The molecules of cholesterol after being consumed by a body, gets accumulated in various blood vessels of the body. Generally, the arteries of the heart are the places where these molecules get accumulated. Initially, the accumulation of these molecules acts as a lubricant that enables the smooth flow of blood within the vessels. When the level of molecules of cholesterol rises abnormally, it creates a barrier in the way of flow of the blood. In the arteries, the cholesterol gets deposited in the form of plaques. However, these plaques do take years of time to form up. As a result of the formation of these plaques, the arteries gat hardened. When there is a problem in the flow of blood in the arteries, the blood may enter in to other blood vessels or may get blocked. This condition is medically termed as heart attack. Similarly, the cholesterol molecules when at increased levels, choke up other blood vessels that do contribute in certain other functioning of any body part. As a result, it gives rise to another disorder.
