Foods that can Help Lower Cholesterol

High cholesterol is something that anyone having it must fight in order to decrease the chances of heart disease, high blood pressure and stroke. The problem with lowering cholesterol is that normally it is caused over a period of years from the foods that are eaten and changing eating habits is sometimes difficult. Garlic, cayenne pepper and caraway that are all normally used for spicing foods have natural compounds in them that are known to combat high cholesterol naturally. Then there are foods like beans that are high in fiber, which also help assist in lowering cholesterol.
