It is for the same reason that sometimes people complain of unusual tiredness and muscle aches after taking to the consumption of this drug. The most probable chances of experiencing muscle pains as after-effects are among those who intake the dosage of 20 mg on a regular basis. However, the least chances are observed among those who take a higher dosage of 80 mg. Apart from regular muscle pains, two severe forms of pain may also be observed. These serious forms include myopathy and rhabdomyolysis. However, these manifestations of muscle pain are observed in less than 1 per cent of the consumers. In case of rhabdomyolysis, the muscle starts to break down and cause disruptions of sorts in the body. One of the most dreaded outcomes of this muscle pain is kidney failure. Acute form of the condition can lead to loss of life; however, there is a very narrow chance of this happening. It is significant to note that the side effects due to this drug should be treated with a specialist. |
