Which Cholesterol Medications Must Not Be Consumed along with Other Drugs?

There are several medications which are commonly used to treat high cholesterol level. In those high cholesterol medications will become dangerous if they are mixed with other medications. Let us some of the high cholesterol medication that cause dangerous effect when mixed with other drugs:
Statin is the most commonly used high cholesterol medication, which is very effective and many people are benefited by using this medication. But it may cause some side effects, if it is used with other medication, such as anticoagulant drugs. It also leads to some muscle damage if it is mixed with certain antibiotics, fibrates, anti fungal, niacin and calcium channel blockers, or other heart medications.
It is not good if cholesterol absorption inhibitor medication is mixed with other drugs like cyclosporine, fibrates because it may lead to many health problems.
Combination of a cholesterol absorption inhibitor and statin medications also cause some dangerous effects when they are mixed with certain antifungal medicines and antidepressants.
Some interactions takes place if bile acid resin medications are mixed with steroid medications, diuretics, some antibiotics, digitalis, phosphate medications, beta blockers and anticoagulants.

People who are taking high cholesterol medications should consult their doctor before taking other medications.
